Annelie Gildenhuys
Annelie is the Managing Director of ANCOR EMPOWERMENT (Pty) Ltd with twenty years of Human Resources experience. She is a master HR practitioner with the SABPP. Annelie is best known for her skills as Diversity and Equity facilitator. She is the author of the best-selling "ANCOR Employment Equity package" and the "Skills Development and Qualifications Package".
Her qualifications include an M.A. in Industrial Sociology (University of Pretoria) and she is currently finalising her research for a PhD on Effective Diversity Management in SA Companies.
Annelie is a part time lecturer to MBA students. She is a part time CCMA/Tokiso commissioner and former trainer for the CCMA National Training Board.
She is consultant to a large number of Corporates and has worked closely with Linda Human in the areas of Diversity Management.
Stella Ndlazi
Stella holds Fund Raising Management (UNISA) and Advanced Human Resources Programme (UNISA) qualifications. Formerly from Promat Colleges she held down two demanding positions as Fundraising Manager and Human Resources Manager for several years. She is also secretary of the South Africa NGO Coalition and a member of the South African Fundraising Association.
Stella has developed into the area of skills development and is currently employed with the National Heritage Council, as Senior Manager tasked with guiding the Heritage Foundation.
ANCOR EMPOWERMENT has had close connections with Stella over several years and Stella has accepted directorship in ANCOR EMPOWERMENT. As such she will be closely linked to this organisation in advisory capacity and her skills available to the team.
Linda Human
Adding considerable weight to the ANCOR EMPOWERMENT team has been our association with Linda Human.
Prof. Linda Human, the doyenne of Equity and Diversity, holds a BA (Hons); MA (cum laude); DLitt et Phil; Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Social Studies.
She joined the University of Stellenbosch Business School in October 1991. Formerly Director of the Centre for African Management and Associate Professor at the Graduate School of Business, University of Cape Town and Wits Business School. She is the co-author or author of five books, the latest being Human, L., Bluen, S. and Davies, R. (1999) "Baking a New Cake: How to succeed at Employment Equity". Johannesburg, Knowledge Resources, "Affirmative Action and the Development of People: A Practical Guide", Cape Town, Juta, 1993 and "Contemporary Conversations: Understanding and Managing Diversity in the Modern World", Senegal, Gorée Institute, 1996. She has extensive research and consultancy experience in the field of management development with a particular emphasis on people management, employment equity, managing diversity and empowerment. She was on the international advisory board of Management Learning, and former editor of the South African Journal of Business Management. She was also a board member of the South African Literary Journal. She has spent time at the Gorée Institute in Senegal, West Africa, including four months of 1995 and four months in 1996. She has also been invited on a number of occasions to present plenary papers at international conferences and has worked on managing diversity in Holland, Finland and England as well as in various countries in Africa, including Namibia and Angola. She has also presented diversity workshops to delegates from, inter alia, USA; UK; Germany; France; Hungary; Singapore; Pakistan; Ireland; Kenya; Ghana; Philippines and Israel.
From June 1998 - May 2003, Linda Human held the position of Visiting Professor at the Graduate School of Business, University of Stellenbosch. Since then she has concentrated to a greater extent on consulting. These consultancy activities include consultancy to many large South African companies and also multi-nationals operating in Europe and Africa. She has also taken up a number of executive coaching assignments with international companies and has coached senior managers from as far a field as Morocco, India, Pakistan, Israel, Turkey, Kenya, Dubai and Egypt. She is registered as a Master HR Practitioner with the SA Board for Personnel Practice, the HR ETQA for SA. Linda undertakes the assessment and moderation of the Diversity Unit standards of ANCOR EMPOWERMENT learners. Our executive coaching is undertaken by Linda.
Ncedisa Mogoma
Ncedi is a Human Resources Executive with a generalist employee relations career. She worked as HR practitioner for Volkswagen, and ABSA. During her time at Volkswagen she was trained at the Carl Duisberg Gesellschaft in Germany, adding to her Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Psychology from Rhodes University (1990).
Recently Ncedi left SA Breweries to join us as Human Resources consultant and facilitator. Ncedi is an accredited UPSIDE facilitator; She conducts all the ANCOR EMPOWERMENT accredited Human Resources workshops. Her practical generalist background and language proficiencies make her a much sought after facilitator.
Karl Schilling
Karl Schilling is a popular consultant who resides in Cape Town. He has a practical approach to interventions, and has acquired an extensive database of information.
Karl's qualifications include:
- Hons. B. Admin (Industrial Psychology)
- M.B.A. University of Stellenbosch
- Registered Psychometrist
- Registered Personnel Practitioner
- Former Human Resources Director for 17 years.
Jeanne Gaylard
Jeanne Gaylard has been involved in dispute resolution since 1996. She is a part-time Commissioner for the CCMA and is a Tokiso panellist.
Jeanne specialises in arbitrations and mediations, and has been involved in sensitive investigations in the workplace such as racism and sexism.
Jeanne, who is often used for Executive coaching, is also a trainer for learning programmes such as:
- Managing conflict in a workplace
- How to conduct disciplinary hearings
- Arbitration
- Mediation
- CCMA
- Stress management in the workplace.
Jeanne holds a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology.
